Boom! You may have heard of the moment that dinosaurs and many other animals were wiped out by a meteor. But did you know we’re living in another time where species are going extinct rapidly?
Find out about recent extinctions, close calls and the role we can all play in keeping our lands and waters full of diverse lifeforms. Christian Cold, a long-time wildlife technician with the Wisconsin DNR, will give a presentation in the air-conditioned visitor center. You’ll even get to meet some animal ambassadors of species that are still living!
