Kids Make Sculpture at Franconia Sculpture Park

Come be a part of the fun and hands-on creativity! During each workshop, children spend the afternoon creating sculptures with the assistance of Franconia’s resident artists and artist interns. Materials (usually lumber and other wood), tools, and technical assistance are provided to accomplish virtually any construction. Kids are encouraged to use their imagination to construct something BIG!

Details:

• $50 non-refundable fee due at the time of registration
• For kids ages 4 to 18
• One artist-assistant for every 2 participants
• Siblings are placed with different artists for group cohesion
• Wear closed toed, sturdy shoes
• Other clothes are your choice, but be prepared to get dirty!
• We provide water and a light snack, please eat lunch before arriving

12:45-1 PM: Check-in and drop-off
1-1:15 PM: Orientation
1:15 -3:45: Creation Time
3:45 – 4:00: Celebration and Reflection
4:00: Load/Pick Up

Parents are welcome to leave the park during creation time and enjoy the afternoon.
