Knit Rope Basket

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced knitter you will love this chunky knitting project.  Knit and crochet designer Cara Corey will teach you how to knit a basic garter stitch using giant needles and soft cotton rope. Then you will assemble your knitted swatch into a sturdy basket that is perfect for storing books, craft supplies, toys, or other household items.

No knitting experience is required, although it certainly helps. The class includes a set of knitting needles and enough rope to make an approximately 9×9 inch basket. You will also learn how to adapt the pattern to make baskets in different shapes and sizes.
