Celebrate National Astronomy Day with Jerry Jones, local astronomer, for a guided viewing of the night sky on the Stillwater Library terrace.
We will start with a short discussion in the library, then move out to the terrace to practice looking at the moon, globular clusters, and galaxies. Jerry will bring his own telescope for participants to use, plus we will have library loaner telescopes available to try as well.
Registration is required. In the event of poor weather of visibility, we will email participants with cancellation or rescheduling details.
