Participants in this workshop will learn how to make a honey-sweetened elderberry syrup that provides a consistent dosage and is safe for canning.
Elderberry is an age-old folk remedy for ailments like cold and flu. Today, modern research tells us that elderberry inhibits viral replication and stimulates the immune system, helping our bodies fend off pathogens. We will discuss the science behind how elderberry works and the beneficial properties of each ingredient in the recipe.
