Ojibwe Elder Sharon Day invites you to walk with her on a Nibi (Water) Walk on April 30 and May 1, Sharon (and other walkers) will carry water from the Willow River’s headwaters near Clear Lake to where it enters the St. Croix near Hudson, WI.
Nibi (Water) Walks are based in Ojibwe Ceremonial Water Teachings. According to Sharon Day, “The reason we walk is to honor the rivers and all water and to speak to the water spirits so that there will be healthy rivers, lakes and oceans for our ancestors in the generations to come.”

Please register for the Nibi Walk and we will send Zoom information for the orientation, which will be held on April 3 at 10:00 a.m. Receptions will be held at the end of each day, in New Richmond on April 30, and in Hudson on May 1.
