An evening concert of chamber music by candlelight featuring chinese pipa master Gao Hong, along with Peking Opera musicians Mei Hu and Zhengang Xie.
Join us on Sunday, November 12, at 4:30pm, in Marine on St. Croix for an evening of chamber music with three of the top professional Chinese musicians in our Twin Cities area. Please feel free to stay with us after the music for refreshments and coversation with the artists.
– Zhengang Xie, Jinghu and Erhu (fiddles)
– Mei Hu, Yueqin (lute) and yangqin (hammered dulcimer)
During the concert, listeners will experience a wide variety of Chinese music including, folk, classical, minority, and Peking opera instrumentals.
Tickets are general admission. Concerts are roughly 45 minutes of music followed by coffee/tea and light dessert (all included in your ticket price). Tickets available for purchase on our website.
This concert will be held at the inclusive and accessible Christ Lutheran Church in Marine on St. Croix.
