Friday, Dec. 15 noon, free: Barcelona Clarinet Players, Frances Cohler Coffee Concert Series. The internationally acclaimed BCP will perform a variety of styles and works for clarinet: Suite Jazz by Pedro Iturrailde: Czernowitzer Skizzen by Alexander Kukelka; Song Cycle by Jack Stamp with vocalist Lauren Shuyler; Concert Piece (world premier) by Jack Stamp; Fantasías Barcelónicas……Paquito D’Rivera and The ‘Classics’ by Andy Firth.
Lauren Shuyler, the soprano that recorded our song cycle will be with us in Wisconsin to perform the premiere of the song cycle. .Ivan, Konev, piano will also be on this world premiere performance by Dr. Jack Stamp.
