Embrace winter and learn to ice fish with Wild Rivers Conservancy!
We’ll have all the necessities to help you or your child to catch your first fish. Participants will learn how to use the equipment, fish species identification, rules and regulations, and connections between clean water and fish populations. All you need to bring is excitement to learn and winter weather gear to stay warm on the ice.
If you are 16 years old or older, you will also need to bring a valid fishing license. If you don’t have one, you can buy them here for WI: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/Fishing/outreach/FishingLicenses
A Wisconsin State Park System vehicle admission sticker is required on all motor vehicles entering Willow River State Park. For more information, please visit: https://dnr.wisconsin.gov/topic/parks/admission
Suggested donation: $10 per family
