The Science in our Midst – Stories from the St. Croix Watershed Research Station
The Science in our Midst
Stories from the St. Croix Watershed Research Station
Friday July 12, 7 pm
Some of the most important scientific work in the world originates right here in the St. Croix Valley. The Science Museum of Minnesota’s St. Croix Watershed Research Station is home to a team of scientists who study water in the region and around the world. They seek to better understand challenges facing clean water and humanity’s relationship with our most precious resource. Four station scientists — Jim Almendinger, Mark Edlund, Adam Heathcote, and Shawn Schottler — will present concise, informative and entertaining briefings on the important science they are doing and answer your questions about their work.
Marine Village Hall, 121 Judd Street, Marine on St. Croix. MN
All are welcome. Light refreshments will be served.
