In partnership with Woodbury Parks and Recreation, youth with special needs will visit Belwin’s ADA accessible trails and wetlands.
In partnership with Woodbury Parks and Recreation, youth with special needs will visit Belwin’s ADA accessible trails and wetlands and explore ponds and streams to discover what is living in these watery habitats. Using nets and buckets, the class will try to capture frogs as well as a variety of insects and other macro invertebrates. This trip will be led by Cathy Smith, Belwin Outdoor Science’s licensed special education teacher with 34 years of experience.
Limited to 8 participants with special needs; must be students entering grades 3–6. $35/student with adult chaperone.
