Winter Family Weekend

Winter Family Weekend

Presented by Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center at Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center

We provide a full schedule of activities, meals, and lodging so you can relax and enjoy the long weekend.

Sign up for ice-climbing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, high-ropes, kick sledding, broomball, cross-country skiing, nature hikes and more. Learn about wolf ecology, animal tracking, and winter survival skills.
Stay cozy inside with some laid-back fun: nature journaling, arts and crafts, talent show, cookie decorations, or just enjoy some hot chocolate by the fireplace. Our barn is like nothing you’ve seen before. Meet and learn about our rescue animals: Hawks, owls, an eagle, reptiles, even our porcupine, Spike. Venture upstairs to climb on our indoor rock climbing wall.

Yurt: this cozy canvas shelter is 0.3 miles from the parking lot and is equipped with a wooden platform, wood-burning stove, and outdoor bathroom. Rugged, yet snug.

Cabin: this rustic cabin has a small parking lot, electricity, wood-burning stove, and an outdoor bathroom. Perfect for a winter escape.

Crosby or Lowry Lodge: these lodges are fully equipped with electricity, running water, and heat, and can accommodate up to 8 people per room. ADA accessible rooms are available.

Commuters: Don’t need to stay the night? Join us for our daily activities and meals at a discounted rate
