Bluebird presentation followed by option to build a bluebird house.
Join Lowell Peterson, Jim Beix, and Jim Higgins (from the Bluebird Restoration Association of Wisconsin) at the Ice Age Center as they give a free presentation that will cover the best habitat to attract birds, how to minimize predation, and the value of nest box monitoring. After the presentation, there will be the opportunity for visitors to construct their very own bluebird nest box. Each kit costs $10 (available while supplies last). Families are welcome.
This is a free event, but a park sticker is required for all vehicles entering the park. Self registration is available at the Ice Age Visitor Center. Nest box kits will be available for $10 at the Ice Age Visitor Center the day of the event (while supplies last).
