Getting Seniors Outdoors

Presented by Great River Road Visitor & Learning Center at Freedom Park at Great River Road Visitor & Learning Center at Freedom Park

ALL are invited to this free presentation with Randy Thoreson about the importance of connecting seniors – and all generations – to the outdoors in order to ensure a healthy life for all!

Randy is an experienced and entertaining speaker, recently (and happily!) retired from the National Park Service. His presentation includes collaborative ideas on connecting seniors to the outdoors, fun visual pictures, as well as challenging the audience members to think about how they interact with the elderly sector of our population and what opportunities currently exist and/or can be integrated in community planning, health initiatives, and organizations’ outreach efforts.
