"Showcasing Your Site" - A Clio Webinar

Presented by North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area at Online/Virtual Space

Would you like more people to know about your organization’s site and all that it has to offer?  Are you looking for an exciting way to reach out to visitors traveling through the St. Croix River watershed?  Do you find that getting the word out is one of your biggest challenges for your organization and the site you support?

In this free webinar, Dr. David Trowbridge, creator of the Clio website and mobile app, will explain how you can build a virtual tour of your sites at no cost using these innovative tools. With a growing selection of more than 30,000 entries and more than 700 walking/driving tours, Clio—a completely free app developed with support from NEH and others—already guides thousands of people to nearby historical, cultural and natural sites each day. The app’s new features, developed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, allow organizations to build a virtual tour without cost or any special equipment in less than a day!

Whether your site is large or small, in town or in the country,  visitors to the St. Croix River watershed will be able to find you…even if they don’t know you yet…because Clio’s data base is easily searchable by area/region/state or by category.  Visit www.theClio.com to see examples of walking tours, museum tours and natural sites.
