Join Parks staff and Goat Dispatch to learn more about how goats are being used to tackle common buckthorn and honeysuckle re-sprouts at Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

The Lake Elmo Park Reserve oak savanna restoration project is funded by the Metropolitan Conservation Partners Expedited Legacy Grant and cropland leases. The goats are provided by Goat Dispatch LLC, and will be in the park through September 15 and again for a winter dormant graze.

Maximum of 23 people per tour. Registration is required.
Washington County Parks vehicle permit is required ($7/daily or $30/annual).
Participants are asked to wear face masks.
Minors must be accompanied by a registered adult.
