Kick off your boots and throw on some skis as we glide across the snow together at William O’Brien State Park!
You’ll get to see oak savannas, prairies, wetlands, and other unique habitats that make the St. Croix River watershed unique and enjoy the beauty of our local national park in wintertime.
This event is open to beginners, families, and whoever else wants to get out in the brisk weather of February. You will need two passes to participate in this event—a State Park Pass vehicle permit, and The Great Minnesota Ski Pass, both of which can be purchased online in advance. This is a bring your own skis event. (William O’Brien State Park does not offer ski rentals.)
SCRA Naturalist Jeremiah Walters will be your guide for this informative and fun event.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
