Maple Syrup Day

Maple Syrup Day

Presented by Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center at Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center

Osprey Wilds Environmental Learning Center will offer a hands-on Maple Syrup Tour and Pancake Meal (to-go) on Saturday, March 20 or Sunday, March 21.

Tours are one hour and will cover everything you need to know about making maple syrup! Learn how to identify maple trees, drill and tap trees, and collect sap. Hear about how we use a wood-burning evaporator to turn gallons of sap into award-winning syrup. Finally, taste the results with our to-go pancake meal that includes pancakes, maple syrup, scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, and bacon. Picnic tables and hiking trails will be accessible for any groups that would like to explore our campus or enjoy their meal outside.

All ages will love the interactive and hands-on learning experience! The cost for this event is $5 for a tour and $10 per pancake meal. Children ages 5 and younger can join for free!
