Goats are back again this year to assist with vegetation management at Lake Elmo Park Reserve! Join Parks staff for a one-hour field tour to learn more about how goats are being used to combat common buckthorn and honeysuckle re-sprouts to support oak savanna restoration efforts.

The Lake Elmo Park Reserve oak savanna restoration project is funded by the Metropolitan Conservation Partners Legacy Grant and cropland leases.

Maximum of 20 people per tour. Registration is required.
Washington County Parks vehicle permit is required ($7/daily or $30/annual).
