Lift Bridge Brewing Co. is celebrating its fourth annual Big Brew Day on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 12-6pm!

Every year, the American Homebrewers Association holds the Big Brew to celebrate National Homebrew Day around the world! This event brings together homebrewers from all over to brew a batch of beer at the same time. Last year, over 17,000 individuals attended the event worldwide to celebrate. This year, Lift Bridge has set aside spots for 30 lucky homebrewers to brew alongside us.

Please join us for an exciting day filled with food served by ODB’S Meat & Greet , educational brew talks (at 1pm & 3pm), and some tasty Lift Bridge beer! Take home some delicious wort of your own brewed by Mike Connelly, our Head Brewer. The beer recipe for this year will be for a Blonde Ale!

Any homebrewers interested in signing up must reserve a spot through EventBrite. Anyone with a reserved spot may arrive at 10am through the BACK DOOR of the brewery to set up their equipment and anything they will need for the day. We will have both indoor and outdoor spots available. We will also provide water. Because multiple brewers will most likely be chilling water at the same time, we will run hoses with splitters to accommodate as many at a time as possible.

Any homebrew clubs interested in joining us for the day are welcome to bring/host a table to answer questions (please contact us to reserve a space).

We welcome anyone who is interested to bring home 5 gallons of scrumptious wort. Simply purchase a ticket through EventBrite and bring us your sanitized vessel (plastic carboys preferred) between 4pm and 6pm on the day of the event. We will have a system in place so you’ll get your carboys back and in order. You will need to purchase your own yeast to ferment your wort at home. A ticket for wort also includes a beer token – good for one pint of Lift Bridge beer.
