Rain Garden Management Workshop

Presented by Sustainable Stillwater MN at Corner of S. Martha and W. Pine Street.

Let’s dig In* to rain garden maintenance! (*FOR REAL!! BYOS=Bring Your Own Spade)

Nearly everyone who comes to this workshop will learn something and we’ll all have fun as we study and then work on 3+ challenging rain gardens.

Invitees: Rain Garden Owners, Interested Community Folks, Rain Garden Maintenance Volunteers

Leaders: Brett Stolpestad, Washington Conservation District, Senior Landscape Restoration Technician Team of “Pretty Good Gardeners”

Our objective is to visit 3 rain gardens for a tutorial by Brett of WCD followed by a “round-robin” exchange by the “Pretty Good Gardeners” on favored methods of removing invasive plants in the rain gardens we visit, and finally a hands-on practice session by everyone at each site.

RSVP to Ruth Alliband, Organizer: ruth.alliband@gmail.com
