Help your little one learn through play!
With stories, activities and a craft, our smallest visitors discover the great outdoors. This special program is designed for children ages 3-6 and their adults. Each week, explore a different letter of nature’s alphabet. Meet at the park’s visitor center at the glacial potholes entrance of the park (Traprock Street, Taylors Falls, MN). Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This program is typically held entirely outdoors. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the program will take place indoors at the nearby Naturalist Office.
This program is free, but a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is required for all vehicles entering the park. A daily permit is $7 or an annual permit is $35. Permits can be purchased at the visitor center.
