Guided Glacial Potholes Tour

An interpretive naturalist will lead you over, under and through world-renowned rock features on this 45-minute tour. Discover how lakes of lava and gushing glacial waters formed the unique glacial potholes and view the deepest in the world. Expect rocky terrain and short stairs on this 1/4-mile walk. This tour is best for ages 6 and up.

Meet outside the park’s visitor center at the park’s glacial potholes entrance (Traprock St., Taylors Falls, MN). This program takes place entirely outdoors and will be canceled or postponed in the event of lightning or thunder

This program is free, but a Minnesota State Parks permit is required for all vehicles entering the park. They can be purchased at the park for $7 (daily) or $35 (year-round).
