Meet Beverly Lewis, New York Times Bestselling Author

Presented by Stillwater Public Library at Stillwater Public Library

Award-winning, bestselling author Beverly Lewis will be at the Stillwater Public Library on Wednesday, April 10 at 10:00 am to discuss her latest release, The Tinderbox, a stand-alone novel set in her beloved Lancaster County and featuring her trademark look at Amish family life. The parking ramp and 3rd Street entrance doors will be opened early to admit attendees. Free admission.

According to Lewis, her biannual book tour is a highlight of her work as a novelist: “It’s always a pleasure to meet with readers face-to-face, and an encouragement to this author’s heart.” Her tour includes twenty stops at bookstores and libraries throughout the Midwest. With nearly 18 million copies of her books in print, Beverly will greet fans and sign The Tinderbox, along with other reader favorites.

Lewis is not only the leading author of Amish fiction, but also its pioneer: she created the genre with the release of her first adult novel, The Shunning, in 1997. The resulting surges in both reader interest in and publisher output of Amish fiction gained national attention, garnering coverage by Time magazine, the BBC World News service, The Wall Street Journal, and Nightline, among others.

“No one does Amish-based inspirationals better than Lewis.” – Booklist
