North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area (NWW) promotes the natural, cultural and historic resources of the St. Croix River Watershed. LYNX is provided as a public service by NWW to help connect citizens with events through the Watershed. In general, North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area may receive “personal information” about users, and “posting information” which is information other than personal information and provided for dissemination on or through the NWW web site or LYNX services. References to “personal information” mean a person’s name, address, telephone number, email address and information about the organization the person represents.
North Woods And Waters of the St Croix Heritage Area does not collect financial information through LYNX, but financial information may be requested by linked sites (I.e.for purchasing tickets) and is subject to the privacy policies of the linked site. Posting information is provided voluntarily for use by NWW in any manner it deems appropriate, in its sole discretion. Receipt by NWW of any information or material from a user does not constitute a commitment by NWW to use or maintain the information in any fashion. Users are responsible for the accuracy of information provided to NWW. NWW may post information about an event through other social media platforms.
Registration: North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area currently requires registration and/or form submissions for use of the following services:
– Event Submissions (requires login and password)
– Tell-A-Friend Email
North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area registration forms require users to submit certain personal contact information (such as name and email address). Such personal information is used (a) to distribute to the registrant information he or she has requested, and (b) to contact a user in relation to his or her account or submission. Reasons for contacting users include problems with the account or submission, changes to our site which require action on the user’s part, or informing a user of additional services specifically related to the services for which the user has already registered. If you do not wish to provide us with any personal information, you may still access and use much of the site; however, you will not be able to access and use those portions of the site that require you to provide your contact information.
Users may, at any time, unsubscribe from our mailing list, delete an account, or request that an event or other posting they have submitted be removed from the site. NWW does not provide its contact list to any other organization or individual.
Additionally, NWW contracts with Art Reach St. Croix for its events calendar content. This calendar content is managed via Arts Reach St. Croix’s community calendar, www.stcroixsplash.org. Users who wish to post events to ‘NorthWoodsandWatersLYNX.org ‘ will be directed to www.stcroixsplash.org where they will need to create a user account in order to post their events.
