Kinnickinnic County Forest
St. Croix County owns approximately 80 acres of forestland in Section 26 of Kinnickinnic Township. The forest is located on Evergreen Drive approximately a half mile east of County Road JJ.
The County has owned and managed the land since May of 1959. Existing facilities include a parking lot and hiking trails. The sites were originally obtained for youth forestry education and managed for multi-use, including timber production, recreation and education.
The forest was thinned in 2006 and is open for hunting.
